Residential design is the most personal work we do. A home is not a showroom — it is the backdrop to everything that matters. MDP Design Studio approaches every home as a portrait of the people who live there: their habits, their aesthetics, their idea of comfort.

We begin every project with a discovery conversation that is less about measurements and more about you — how you move through your home in the morning, where you like to sit at night, what the space feels like now and what you want it to feel like instead.

From that understanding, we develop a spatial concept: layouts that breathe, material palettes that age well, lighting that shifts with the day. We draw from classical proportions — arched forms, considered vertical ratios, the golden ratio in column and shelf placement — so that the final space feels inherently balanced without looking studied.

Our residential projects range from single-room transformations to whole-home designs. Every scope receives the same level of craft and attention.

A 2BHK typically takes 10–14 weeks from concept approval to handover. Larger homes or projects requiring custom furniture can extend to 20 weeks. We'll give you a precise timeline at the concept stage.

Yes. Under our turnkey service, we manage all vendors, procurement, site supervision, and quality control. You review and approve; we execute.

For whole-home projects, we recommend vacating for at least the primary execution phase (4–8 weeks). For room-by-room work, we can structure the schedule to minimise disruption.

We take projects across Gujarat — Surat, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Valsad, Bharuch, and surrounding areas. Projects outside Gujarat are considered case by case.

The first consultation (30 minutes, free) covers your space, brief, timeline, and investment range. We'll walk through reference images together so we understand your aesthetic before we sketch anything.

Both. We can optimise what you have or reimagine from scratch. We always recommend starting with a fresh spatial analysis, even if the final design preserves most of the existing layout.
